GearUp4U is a free, unofficial airport briefing app for education only.
Not for operational use.

We do not collect personal data, run analytics, or show ads.
Pins, theme, and the educational-use acknowledgement stay on your device.

Location is optional and off by default on iOS.
If you turn it on, the compass and a coarse position stay on the device for the ADS-B you-are-here dot, Closest Large Airport, and the Compass North Pointer on Live Activities and CarPlay.
GearUp4U does not send your location to its service or to anyone else.

When you look up an airport, GearUp4U asks its own service for briefing information.
This information comes primarily from national data providers and secondarily from open-data platforms.

GearUp4U’s service host may retain standard web server logs, including timestamps and IP addresses.
No account is created, and your activity is not logged or tracked.

Some screens open a third-party map or airport page.
Those pages have their own terms.
